garden update

I took some pictures this morning of the yard....
this is a hedge of lavender I put in that i had in pots from when I worked on the farm,
they are 'True Grosso', with one 'Gros Bleu' and one 'Hidcote Giant' on the ends. It will be beautiful once it fills in....In front of it s a dwarf peach that just got in the ground.
I have been pulling off the buds so it doesn't bloom this year, and man it breaks my heart... as you can see, I missed a couple-oh well!
To think, next year that will all be fruit....

not much going on...trying to save room for the summer veggies. Some leeks that overwintered, and some garlic popping up....

greenhouse veggies are poppin' up...

I added a purple and green artichoke.....

I picked up two Honeyberrys, the one pictured above is blooming, but the other isn't. I am hoping that as they get settled they will bloom at the same time to pollinate each other....more fruit! Honeyberry is part of the Honeysuckle family, funny enough. It produces a grape sized fruit that is similar to a blueberry....
Alright, enough for now.
