This I believe is my 2nd year in the house, the beds shown are brand new. Babs and I picked up the flowering cherry at a nursery over in long beach. The soil is...not great, but now on year 4, I can definitely see the difference. All the rock was free from a fellow in oregon city, destroying his inherited hardscaping to divide his lot....depressing.
I added some beds along the borders, didn't get much in them right away.the jungle that is the side yard....
