so, i guess i should start by saying that I have never done this before. Not all that savvy on the computer, but I have been needing something like this-an archive I suppose-to track my ever growing gardening obsession. I purchased a home the summer of 2005 in NE Portland, OR, and have been gradually ripping up the grass and getting dirty. The soil around my house has been brutalized-full of rocks from the backfill and an ever-entertaining assortment of trash...broken glass, utensils, crack pipes, every kind of plastic known to man....and about twenty thousand cheese puff bags(a personal fave of the previous owners daughter I have gathered). So, in the evenings when it's not pouring, I go out with the cats and a beer to scavenge for trash, yank sod, talk to the plants, and plead with the earth worms to come back, give this little garden another shot.
