It has been the craziest weather here this spring(literally, record breaking lows AND highs), and now we seem to be steadily creeping towards unbearably hot weather. cant wait! The garden has gotten away from me a bit, mostly I am behind on my veggie plantings, and the shot weed has taken over some of my beds...hate that stuff.

First off, props to the Pitcher plant for continuing to thrive next to the compost bucket in the kitchen, this was probably the biggest fly I have seen it catch (but then again, what do I know)

The family Apple is looking great, though I haven't had time to finish the espalier trellis

I took out a butterfly bush and moved the 'Hollywood' Plum to the back yard...I'm excited for Plums! I had a scare last summer with thinking I may be allergic to stone fruits, but I figure if I plant enough of them, I can beat it. That's the way it works, right? Um, Right.

Asparagus is waking up, and the potatoes have taken off! I am going to cage up the potatoes and keep them growing up in some medium, probably straw
Some broccoli... and Rebecca's beautiful bleeding heart....The wildlife around these parts is amazing......
The other day was Boony's 1st year anniversary of his return from being missing for 2 years...I love this cat!
Pretty Alliums...And strawberrys galore!
