Since I can't justify turning on the heat, we are warming up in the kitchen.......Alright, this is what's happening in the garden these days....

Not a great picture, but these Bees are really great...I haven't ever noticed them before, bright orange bumblers...

It looks like we will get a few apples from the espalier...I should finish the trellis soon, before these babies get any heavier....

This is the second strawberry to come into season....Of course I got so excited to stuff the first one is my mouth, I forgot to grab my camera...

The first Peas! I

I am experimenting with tomato training this year....I am training the indeterminants against my WWF trellises...I will keep them pruned and wrap the leader stem up the twine...I will surely get less fruit with all the hard pruning, but I compensated by planting 17 varieties...far more than 2 people can handle. I am counting on friends and neighbors without garden space to keep things under control...

The spinach 'america' is amazing right now, I just wish I had planted more....

I started stringing up the beans as well.... This year I planted:
Scarlett runner
asparagus beans, one green one red
violet stringless(to dry)
blue lake pole
I would like to end up with more to dry this year...

All the basil got transplanted...hopefully it will warm up enough for it to grow soon...

Mini asparagus! Can't wait for next year...

The creeping raspberry is blooming....
Alright, enough. I don't know how much more of this weather i can take, but the rain has kept the garden nice!
